Short version: be cool, don't break things, and don't use cutthis.link for anything shady.

1. Your account

You need a valid email address to sign up, and you're responsible for keeping it working (password resets go there). Temporary or disposable email services aren't accepted. You must verify your email within 7 days of signup; unverified accounts lose access until verification is completed.
You may also sign up or log in with Google. That creates a fully verified account using your Google-registered email, with a username derived from it and no password of ours (you can set one anytime via forgot password). Signing in with Google is also governed by Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private.
One human per account. No automated mass-registration.
No account? No problem — but fewer rights. Guests can create links without signing up, subject to rate limits. Guest links can't be edited, tracked, or deleted afterwards; claim them by registering and recreating them under your account.
Referral credit. Free accounts earn credit when a friend signs up through their invite link and verifies their email. Credit is one per new account, only counts once the invited account is email-verified, and is never retroactive. Paid plans don't earn referral credit, but features you've already unlocked are kept. Any invite bonus for the invited account (+10 links) applies for its first month only.

Link to or distribute malware, phishing pages, scams, or illegal content.
Create links to spam, shock content, or material that infringes others' rights.
Abuse the service at scale: link farming, load testing without permission, or hammering redirect endpoints.
Impersonate other people or brands with your username or custom aliases.
Game the referral program — no self-referrals, and no buying, hiring, or fabricating signups to inflate referral credit. Accounts created to abuse referrals may be stripped of credit or terminated.

Your destination URLs, bio pages, social links, thumbnails and profile content remain yours.
We may remove any link, bio page, thumbnail, social link, or account that violates these terms — usually after an abuse report, but immediate action is possible for serious violations.
Abuse reports must be confirmed via the verification email sent to the reporter's address; unconfirmed reports are discarded automatically. Reports also require a quick human check (captcha). Knowingly false or mass-submitted reports may be ignored or blocked.
Guest links are held to exactly the same standards — we may remove any guest link that breaks these rules.
If your custom alias collides with a system route, we may reclaim it.
Your main bio page lives at /yourusername and follows your username automatically. Renaming your username moves the page (and frees the old link, which may then be taken by someone else).
Custom thumbnail URLs must point to publicly accessible images. We're not responsible for broken thumbnails if the external URL becomes unavailable.
Social link usernames you add to your bio page are displayed as clickable links. You're responsible for making sure these point to your own profiles.

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uptime, speed, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We're not liable for lost links, missed clicks, or damages resulting from outages. If your campaign depends on 100% uptime, run your own domain too.

Paid plans (Starter, Pro) are billed monthly through PayPal. All payment information is handled by PayPal — we never see or store your credit card or PayPal credentials.
Plan limits (link count, analytics slots, bio pages, bio page views) apply from the moment your subscription is active. Exceeding a limit prevents creating new links or features until you upgrade or delete data.
Starter includes 3,000 lifetime links, 3 bio pages, 5,000 bio page views/month, 20 bio themes, custom aliases, link expiration, password protection, CSV export, QR design (custom colors and your own center logo), 30-day charts and click detail with countries/devices/referrers. Pro includes unlimited links, unlimited bio pages, 50,000 bio page views/month, 20 bio themes and 90-day charts, plus everything in Starter.
Plan-gated settings (such as hiding the "Made with cutthis" credit on bio pages) require the matching paid plan to be active and revert if you downgrade.
You may cancel your subscription anytime from the pricing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds.
If a payment fails, your plan may be suspended until payment is recovered. PayPal handles retry logic automatically.
Free plan features remain available after downgrading. Your existing links, bio pages and data are preserved.

You can stop using the service anytime; ask us to delete your account via support@cutthis.link.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules — with notice when practical.

These terms may change as features evolve. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
